Signpost #37: You challenge and provoke; you're more likely to confront that to comfort (unless you're also highly pastoral)

May I ask? What are the top three signposts that resonate most strongly with you?

Almost all are highly relevant, but I guess the strongest resonation is operating as a seer and intercessor. My prophetic dove-tails with intercession, almost as if they are one. I may perceive something about someone in the spirit and then speak a word over them regarding what I saw and they go through deliverance on the spot. I see into the spirit realm in a dimension most would rather not get into nor think it is possible to. How about you? What do you feel resonates most strongly with you?

Thank you for responding. First, I want to say that my best friend is a strong seer prophet - also very much like her namesake - Anna in the bible, and that I love praying with seers, including those new to prayer who haven’t yet learned how to pray according to what they see, don’t yet understand what they are seeing, as my “wiring” complements that gift in prayer. As for myself, my first “God dream” occurred at age three; I was in a pit in the ground with lions, but they didn’t harm me (there’s more but I don’t want to tip over anyone’s boat of theology, and does that not sound familiar?) And throughout my growing up years I was always strongly aware of the spirit world, but unfortunately, as I began to dabble into dark practices as I got older a lot of my experiences were of the dark side. I’ll end by saying, I sense, know, and perceive, but I am strongest as a hearer. I’ve learned to discern the distinction of the voice of the Holy Spirit, the voice of Jesus and the voice of the Father, although these voices are not necessarily audible. But if you read one of my previous essays you already know I’ve heard the audible voice of Jesus - “I’m cleansing you of your sins.” Just once, but once is enough) And the audible voice of Father (just once) - three short sentences that went along with three short “pictures” that ended with “and you would do well to work with children.” And with the Holy Spirit it’s most often impressions but I can count on one hand (still yet) the times it was what I can best describe as an “audible thought.” Well, I’ve shared more than I thought I would, but enough already with “things things don’t happen today.” “Awake awake oh sleeper” is my response to that doctrine. Anyway, I may take some hits for what I posted, but I’m OK with that. Enough with the fear of man.

Amen to that. Thank you for sharing. It’s ironic but it seems as though many peoples’ theology is a snare, causing unbelief rather than elevating their faith…

There are too many “unbelieving” believers. For sure.
