Regarding boldness, the pendulum is swinging back, prayerfully to a balanced and healthy position. Because in recent years, I had the opportunity to more fully develop a pastoral grace, wearing a pastoral hat. This, combined with mentors telling me I needed to put honey on my blade, I allowed myself to be softened. But perhaps a bit too much. I’m finally shedding who I am not and emerging as who God created me to be. Thank you for your encouragement. Especially as I expect some kickback.

Yes, that beautiful balance of speaking truth in love, seasoned with grace! In different seasons, God places within us a fresh understanding of what is truly important to His heart.

I have been told I am a prophet because I spoke boldly for 2 years (out of deep pain and God showing me the devastation of sin). I said some things I NEVER would have said let alone thought on my own , that felt so harsh but were meant to wake people up. I apologized for the hurt it caused them. But I still was exiled and shunned.

Megan I bear witness you are wired as a prophet, called as one. Not everybody knows they are called as one, not everybody has Jesus show up in their bedroom at age 7 and tell them they are one. Two of the easiest marks of a prophet to spot are the extra/extreme measure of trials and testings they go through, much more than other Christians. The other is strong opinions. What you went through with the church is not uncommon. Pastors need to learn how to accept and work with prophets. And prophets need to learn how to submit to pastors. An increasing number of churches are achieving this, as well as pastors and apostles learning to work together. And in regard to all of those questions you recently asked, I believe it's because you're wired see the big picture and you're wired to build, you have a strong apostolic anointing. And you're already building here on substack. And if you didn't see my post of a couple months ago about the "37 Signs you might be a prophet" that might be helpful to see how you see yourself in it. Anyway, there is much gain in the growing pains of the journey. Everything serves its purpose and brings lessons learned. God's got his hand on you but even as I say this I feel nudged to say one final thing. Prophets always want to move faster than everyone else, and it can be quite frustrating when others don't move along as quickly, when others don't see what they see. Best, Yvonne
